Not long ago we all were poking fun at Bryce Harper for failing to break a bat. Carlos Gomez may have one upped him today, and not in a good way.
In a game that the Milwaukee Brewers tried 8-1 to the St. Louis Cardinals, Gomez tried three times to break a bat over his knee following a strikeout. He finally slammed it into the ground.
Gomez is headed to his second All-Star game this year. He currently has a .299 batting average to go with 14 home runs and 46 RBI.
