The move is simply a procedural move to make room for Grady Sizemore on the 40-man roster. Sizemore hit .289/.360/.378 with one homer over 10 games for Lehigh Valley. During his time with the Boston Red Sox, Sizemore hit just .216/.288/.324 in 52 games.
In Lee’s last start with High-A Clearwater he allowed three runs in four innings of work.
