The Philadelphia Phillies will get pitcher Cliff Lee and catcher Carlos Ruiz back sometime after the All-Star break.

Lee has been dealing with a strained left elbow while Ruiz has been out of action with a concussion. The Phillies are well back in the NL East but a returning Lee could prove to be a trade target for someone.

One team that was interested in Lee was the New York Yankees though they also had interest in Cole Hammels. While the Yankees acquired Brandon McCarthy it is unclear whether or not they are still seeking other upgrades to the rotation.

Hamels is owed a minimum of $96 million after this season while Lee is still owed $37.5 million.
