The Chicago Blackhawks will want to re-sign players Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane who become free agents at the end of the 2014-15 season.

And now we know what the pair of stars want, submitting identical requests for $12 million a season. Though its more than likely their long term deals will average out to be less as TSN’s Bob McKenzie believes both will receive around $10 million.

Signing identical deals for the two players is nothing new. In 2010 both players signed five-year deals worth $31.5 million.

We would expect much the same to happen again this time round. Toews scored 28 goals and added 40 assists in 76 games. Kane had 29 goals and 40 assists during the regular season.
