Jamie McMurray will start on the pole for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway. The driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet SS will be joined on the front row by AJ Allmendinger.
McMurray sat the fast lap in the final round of knockout qualifying at 74.354 seconds.
Sunday’s race at the 1.99-mile Sonoma Raceway will air on TNT beginning at 3:00 pm ET. The green flag will wave around 3:19 pm ET.
The Toyota Save Mart 350 will consist of 110 laps around Sonoma to make up a total of 218.9 miles. Martin Truex Jr.won this racew last season.
