Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Jonny Venters will be out another 4-6 weeks after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his left elbow.
The long road back for Venters following a second Tommy John surgery has been well documented.
Venters had PRP shot and will take 4-6 weeks to let it take affect. Still having soreness but Andrews checked elbow said ligament is sound

Venters has been dealing with soreness in his surgically-repaired elbow for a month now and things were simply not getting any better.
A six week timetable places Venters out until August. In 230 career game Venters has a 2.23 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP.
