While the status of Carl Edwards remains a question, one team that he will not be driving for is Richard Childress Racing.
The news is unsurprising as Edwards decision for 2015 has been expected to come down to Roush Fenway Racing or Joe Gibbs Racing.
Team Penske owner Roger Penske declined interest in Edwards last week citing that the driver was signed to a deal with another Ford team in RFR.
Edwards’ teammate Greg Biffle is also a free agent at the end of the season. Recent reports have suggested that Biffle would remain at RFR keeping sponsor 3M in the process.
