The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at Michigan International Raceway this weekend for the Quicken Loans 400. This is the fifteenth race on the Sprint Cup Series schedule.
Kevin Harvick will lead a field of 43 cars to the green flag on Sunday afternoon after setting a new track record in the final round of knockout qualifying.
Coverage of the Quicken Loans 400 will take place on TNT beginning at 1:00 pm ET Sunday with the green flag set to wave around 1:16 pm ET. Sunday’s race will be 200 laps around the 2-mile track located in the hills of Brooklyn, MI to make up 400 miles.
A season ago Greg Biffle was the winner of this event. Joey Logano won when the Sprint Cup Series returned in August.
Karen Newman known as “the voice of the Detroit Red Wings” will be singing the National Anthem.
