St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright will miss his next scheduled start.
Wainwright was slated to start on Monday against the New York Mets. Dealing with what the team has termed tennis elbow, Wainwright underwent an MRI which showed no ligament damage.
Mozeliak: Wainwright will not start Monday, precautionary, Monday's starter is TBD.

Monday’s starter for the Cardinals has yet to be announced.
After 14 starts this season Wainwright had a 2.15 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP to go with a 91/21 K/BB ratio. Ideally Wainwright will be able to go the next time his turn comes up but nothing is a given.
