Kevin Harvick won start on the pole for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Raceway. The driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet SS beat out Jeff Gordon for the top spot to start the Quicken Loans 400.
Harvick sat the fast lap in the final round of knockout qualifying at a track record 204.557 mph.
Sunday’s race at the 2-mile Michigan International Raceway will air on TNT beginning at 1:00 pm ET. The green flag will wave shortly after then.
The Quicken Loans 400 will consist of 200 laps around MIS to make up a total of 400 miles. Greg Biffle won this race a year ago while Joey Logano won when the Sprint Cup Series returned in August.
