The Chicago White Sox soon will be able to add left hander Chris Sale back to their rotation.
Sale has been out of action since suffering a flexor muscle strain in his left elbow.
In four innings on Friday, Sale struck out 11 batters while pitching for Triple-A Charlotte. He is expected to make one more minor league start before returning to the White Sox.
Prior to suffering his strain, Sale was 3-0 with a 2.30 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP.
Bell signs with O’s
It only took Heath Bell a few days to find a new team after being released by the Tampa Bay Rays. Bell signed a minor league deal with the Baltimore Orioles on Friday.

Bell had a 7.27 ERA in 13 games for the Rays but will now take his act to the Orioles. Currently viewed as depth, it should only be a matter of time before he ends up in their bullpen.
