Tommy Rees was not selected in the 2014 NFL Draft but the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback will get a chance to compete for a roster spot with the Washington Redskins.
Rees faces an uphill battle making the Redskins as most teams carry just two quarterbacks and the Redskins have comfortable with Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins as 1-2 on their depth chart. What Rees lacks in talent he makes up for mentally and while his chances of sticking in the NFL are slim he will at-least get a chance.
Defensive lineman Kona Schwenke has landed with the Kansas City Chiefs, linebacker Carlo Calabrese has signed with the Cleveland Browns and Dan Fox has signed with the New York Giants. Meanwhile the Oakland Raiders have snagged running back George Atkinson who could end up being a return man.
