Kevin Harvick won the pole for this weekends NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway. The driver of the No. 29 Chevrolet SS beat out Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski for the top spot.
In the final segment of knockout qualifying at Kansas, Harvick set the fast time at 27.7999 seconds(0.049 faster than Logano) to claim the pole at the 1.5-mile speedway located in Kansas City, KS.
Saturday nights race will air on FOX beginning at 7:30 pm ET. The green flag will wave at 7:46 pm ET.
The 5-Hour Energy 400 will consist of 267 laps around Kansas Speedway making up 400.5 total miles. Last season Matt Kenseth won this race while Kevin Harvick won at Kansas in the fall.
