Could Greg Biffle’s time at Roush Fenway Racing be ending?

It may sound strange to think about but consider it was just two years ago that news broke that Matt Kenseth, the first driver to win the organization a championship, was leaving.

Perhaps Biffle has seen the success that Kenseth has had since leaving Roush Fenway and considers signing elsewhere.

“I think there’s plenty of opportunities in the industry to be in competitive cars,” Biffle said on Wednesday while talking to Claire B. Lang on Sirius/XM NASCAR Radio. “I enjoy being at Roush Fenway. I love 3M. We have a great relationship and the program works really, really well for 3M…Plain and simply, I’ve got options. I know I’m going to be racing. I know I’m going to be driving a car. So I’m not worried about it.”

Exactly where Biffle could go remains to be seen. Without expansion at Team Penske or Joe Gibbs Racing the best seat available may very well be his current one.

Biffle has finished inside the top 10 in points in six of the last seven seasons. A 19-time winner in the Sprint Cup Series, Biffle won at Michigan a year ago.
