Brian Scott will lead field of 43 cars to the green flag on Saturday night after setting the fast time in the final round of knockout qualifying.
Coverage of the Aaron’s 499 will take place on FOX beginning at 1:00 pm ET Saturday with the green flag set to wave at 1:20 pm ET. Sunday’s race will be 188 laps around the 2.66-mile Superspeedway located in Talladega, AL. This is the largest track on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.
David Ragan won this race a season ago while Jamie McMurray won here when the series returned in the fall.
