The NASCAR Nationwide Series is at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the ToyotaCare 250. This is the eighth race on the Nationwide Series schedule.
Who won the pole? What time in Friday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race?
Brian Scott will lead field of 40 car to the green flag on Friday evening after setting the fast time in qualifying. Coverage of the Toyota Care 250 will take place on ESPNews. With rain at the track the 7:16 ET start time did not happen but shortly after 10:00 pm ET drivers were able to get into their cars. There will be a competition caution on lap 40.
Friday’s race will be 250 laps or 187.5 miles around the 0.75-mile short track located in Richmond, VA. Brad Keselowski won both Nationwide Series races at Richmond last season while rookie Chase Elliott has won the last two races this season.
With his recent winning ways Elliott holds a 13 point lead over Regan Smith in the point standings.
