Former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein has signed a two-year deal with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
Klein went undrafted in last years NFL Draft but later was invited to rookie camp with the Houston Texans. Things did not work out for him and many expected he would transition to the role of a tight end.

After not playing in 2013, Klein has now signed on with Montreal. Currently the Alouettes have Troy Smith on their roster as quarterback. Fans will also remember that Chad Johnson also signed with Montreal recently.
Should Klein impress in the CFL he will have to wait two years before he could return for a second shot at the NFL.
