Aroldis Chapman has been cleared to throw batting practice.
Chapman recently threw off the mind for the first time and now will begin throwing to hitters.

The Reds have been hoping to have Chapman return to their team in mid-May after he took a liner to his head during spring training. Chapman had surgery to repair fractures in his left eye and nose.
A two time All-Star, Chapman has turned into one of baseball’s best closers over hte past two seasons. During that span he has appeared in 136 games, recorded 76 saves and posted a 2.00 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP.
