Kyle Busch won the pole for Friday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Darlington Raceway. The driver of the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Carmy beat out Chase Elliott and Matt Kenseth for the top spot. Kyle Larson crashed in the final segment.
In the final segment of knockout qualifying Busch set the fast time with a lap speed of 28.314 seconds, claiming the pole at the 1.366-mile track located in Darlington, SC.
Last season Busch won this race. Coverage of the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 will take place on ESPN2 beginning at 8:00 pm ET with the green flag set to wave at 8:16 pm ET.
Friday nights race will be 147 laps making up advertised 200.8 miles.
