Qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway will take place on Saturday.
With the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four taking place on Saturday in nearby Arlington, Texas there will be no competition from the NASCAR Nationwide Series which will run its race on Friday night at the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series race will take place on ESPN2 with coverage starting at 8:30 pm ET. Sprint Cup Series qualifying will take place on Saturday at 3:10 pm ET on FOX SPORTS 2. (FOX SPORTS 1 will be airing its weekly Major League Baseball coverage)
