With a 2-0 lead on Opening Day the Milwaukee Brewers went to the bullpen in the ninth inning and out emerged Francisco Rodriguez.
Signed to a one-year deal worth $3.25 million this spring, the now 32-year-old Rodriguez is already paying dividends for the Brewers team who is waiting for Jim Henderson to get his stuff back.
Rodriguez allowed a hit and struck out two in his inning of work preserving a win for the Brewers.
K-Rod is the closer for now, RR says. They want to give Henderson time to get his stuff back. #Brewers

With the save Rodriguez now has 305 for his career across 13 seasons.
