The Cincinnati Bengals have added a backup quarterback behind Andy Dalton on their depth chart.
New Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson will be reunited with Jason Campbell. The expectation is that the 32-year-old Campbell will provide a capable backup behind Dalton. Jackson and Campbell previously worked together in Oakland.
Last season Campbell appeared in nine games for the Cleveland Browns posting mixed results. Campbell completed 56.8-percent of his passes for 2,015 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Campbell will be a step up from Greg McElroy who was added via a reserve contract in January.
