The Chicago Bears have re-signed Charles Tillman to a one-year deal for the 2014 season.
The 33-year-old Tillman will make $3.5 million in 2014, down from the $8 million he made in 2013.
Tillman has been with the Bears since joining the NFL in 2003. While limited to just eight games last season Tillman was in on 42 tackles and forced three fumbles. Throughout his career he has had a knack for knocking the ball out of opposing offenses, with 42 in his career.
Charles Tillman's one-year deal with the #Bears is worth just under $3.5 m, per source.

It was looking like Tillman’s days in Chicago were over, with Tampa Bay and former head coach Lovie Smith looking like a possibility.
The Bears need players at cornerback and safety. It is unclear where Tillman would play.
