While there have been a lot of back and forth about the future of Kirk Cousins, ESPN’s Adam Schefter says a trade is not going to happen.
Cousins believes he has the ability to start in the NFL even as his results have been mixed.
Shefter says that the quarterback who is entering his third year in the NFL is “not going anywhere.”
Redskins have no plans nor interest in trading QB Kirk Cousins, per league sources. He's not going anywhere.

Even if Cousins was available via trade it’s hard to imagine that anyone would be willing to offer the second-round pick that the Redskins have reportedly placed on Cousins.
Cousins should continue to backup for the Redskins behind Robert Griffin III.
