Tuesday nights game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Iowa Hawkeyes was canceled after a beam fell at Assembly Hall earlier in the day.
A piece of metal facing which was 8 feet long and 14 inches wide and fell into a section of seats. It damaged seats and engineers suggested that the game be cancelled.
After a review of the building it was determined that there was nothing in the building that was not structurally sound.
Scary stuff. Thankfully this happened prior to the game.
