The Boston Red Sox are talking to left handed pitcher Chris Capuano about a contract.
Capuano, 35, has been reportedly seeking a two-year deal this offseason but has yet to find a suitor after posting a 4.26 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP in 105 2/3 innings last season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Small sample, but Capuano did well as RP for #Dodgers, including three scoreless innings in Game 3 of DS. #RedSox looking for swing type.

With Ryan Dempster announcing his intention to sit out this season the Red Sox are looking for some depth. Capuano could either pitch at the end of he season or operate as a swingman for the Red Sox if a deal gets worked out.
The Seattle Mariners have also been in discussions with Capuano.
