The San Francisco 49ers are working on a multi-year extension with wide receiver Anquan Boldin according to CSN Bay Area.
Last season Boldin made $6 million in salary after being acquired in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. He will become a free agent and can start to talk to other teams in March if the two sides cannot work out a deal.
Boldin, 33, became a favorite target of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick last season snagging 85 catches for 1179 yards and seven touchdowns.
