NASCAR is back, and tonight during The Sprint Unlimited we are once again reminded of the safety that goes into the cars that race around these tracks each and every week.
During the predecessor to the Daytona 500, Matt Kenseth slid down into Joey Logano which caused a huge pile up of wrecked cars at the 2.5 track at Daytona International Speedway.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. plowed into the back of Kurt Busch, creating multiple cars to go airborne. He then ran smack into Danica Patrick.
Only nine drivers are continuing into the last segment of the race.
