The Milwaukee Brewers are still expected to sign free agent pitcher Matt Garza.
Garza and the Brewers had agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal on Thursday according to Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal but thus far neither side has confirmed a deal is done. The Brewers even took to twitter to say that talks with Garza were ongoing but no deal had been completed.
Rosenthal continues to say that a deal will be completed.
Garza, #Brewers still appear on track to complete deal. Continue to work on language in contract. Not clear if related to physical.

Others suggest that the issue is not related to a medical issue. Garza split the 2013 season between the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers. He finished with a 10-6 record, 3.82 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 24 starts.
