The Milwaukee Brewers and free agent pitcher Matt Garza have agreed to a four-year contract worth $50 million.

Garza’s deal also includes a $13 million vesting option for a fifth season and could also earn incentives which could add $1 million to his contracts value a season making the deal worth a potential $67 million.

Last season Garza finished with a 3.82 ERA in 155 1/3 innings of work spread across the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers.

With the addition of Garza the Brewers have a pretty good rotation coming together with Kyle Lohse, Yovani Gallardo and Wily Peralta.
