The Chicago White Sox have avoided arbitration with second baseman Gordon Beckham and outfielder Alejandro De Aza.

Beckham and the White Sox agreed to a one-year deal worth $4.175 million after the 27-year-old compiled a .267/.322/.372 line in 103 games last season. Beckham posted a career low with just five home runs, 46 runs scored and 24 RBI.

The White Sox are still banking that he can show some of the early promise from his rookie season.

Another player the White Sox have avoided arbitration with is Alejando De Aza. The two sides reached a compromise on a one-year contract worth $4.25 million.

De Aza, 30, has been a reliable option for the White Sox in the outfield. He hit .264/.323/.405 with 17 home runs, 84 runs scored, 62 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 2013.
