Andrew Hendrix will be at Notre Dame in 2014. The quarterback has asked for a release from his scholarship so he can attend another school and play. Since Hendrix has already graduated he will be allowed to instantly play any school that offers a masters degree.
With Everett Golson coming back Hendrix could read the writing on the wall. He was not going to start for the Fighting Irish next season and is ready to find a place where he can.
Golson and Malik Zaire are the top quarterbacks on Notre Dame’s roster for next season.
Hendrix was 25 of 58 for 360 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in his career at Notre Dame.
