UPDATE: Calvin Johnson to play against Giants
The Detroit Lions could be without wide receiver Calvin Johnson in Sunday’s must win game against the New York Giants.
Johnson is listed as questionable on the Lions injury report with a knee injury and is “not a sure thing to play” against the Giants reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With the Lions not playing until 4:05 pm ET those in fantasy football may need to make a decision about an early game hopeful.
Johnson practiced on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. He has played the last few weeks despite injury concerns. In 13 games this season Johnson has 81 catches for 1449 yards and 12 touchdowns. Obviously his absence would be a huge loss for the Lions.
The Lions need to win out and get some help with losses by Green Bay and Chicago if they are to claim the NFC North.
