Marlins sign Casey McGehee to contract

The Miami Marlins have signed third baseman Casey McGehee to a one-year deal.

McGehee spent the 2013 season playing in Japan where he compiled a .289/.371/.512 line with 27 homers in Japan’s Pacific League with the Rakuten Golden Eagles.

In parts of five seasons stateside McGehee appeared in 551 games with a .257/.314/.414 line with 61 home runs and 283 RBI.
