The Boston Red Sox have re-signed Mike Napoli and now they appear to be working towards an extension with David Ortiz.
Ortiz, 38, showed no signs of slowing down last season compiling a .309/.395/.564 line with 30 home runs and 103 RBI in the regular season before claiming the World Series MVP.

The Red Sox owe Ortiz $15 million for the 2014 season. It took the two sides some time to agree to his current deal but they found a way. There’s next to no chance that Ortiz leaves Boston.
