The Texas Rangers have re-signed pitcher Colby Lewis to a minor league deal.
Lewis, 34, offers the Rangers a low-risk, high-reward as there is little to no financial loss for the team should he fail to perform out of spring training.
Arm injuries and a hip surgery have kept Lewis off the field since midway through the 2012 season.
