Francisco Liriano and Mariano Rivera have both earned honors for 2013 Comeback Player of the Year.
Rivera earned the award in the American League after returning from a knee injury that cost him nearly all of the 2012 season. Rivera had a 2.11 ERA and notched 44 saves prior to retiring at the end of the season.
Francisco Liriano earned the honor for the National League. In 2013 Liriano had a 3.02 ERA with 163 strikeouts in 161 innings for the Pirates.
