Kyle Larson, developmental driver for Earnhardt Ganassi with Felix Sabates will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut at Charlotte Motor Speedway this Sunday for  the Bank of America 500.

Larson, who has made 29 starts participating in the Nationwide series for the first time this season, will be driving the No. 51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet to gear him up to move to Sprint Cup full time in 2014.

Larson will be the full-time driver of the No. 42 EGR Chevrolet next season, replacing Juan Pablo Montoya who is heading back to open-wheel racing.

Larson has just one career start at CMS,  during the March NNS race where he started 18th and finished fourth.

Larson is ninth in the NNS  point standings, with eight top-five and 15 top-ten finishes in 29 starts.

Larson also has two starts in the Camping World Truck Series – at Rockingham where he captured his first win, and at Eldora Speedway, where he finished second.
