The New York Jets are concerned that Mark Sanchez has a partially torn labrum in his right throwing shoulder.
Sanchez, 26, was injured late in the Jets third preseason game and went down with what was initially ruled shoulder bruise.
If Sanchez does indeed have a torn labrum his season is likely to be over. Chris Mortensen of ESPN says that Sanchez will have a second opinion on his labrum this coming week.
You saw Mark Sanchez throwing lefty. That’s because docs believe he has partially torn labrum. 2nd opinion this week from Dr Andrews.

The Jets drafted Geno Smith who will start on Sunday. There is little reason for the team to consider playing Sanchez this season and this may finally rid everyone of hearing more ridiculous Jets/Sanchez storylines.
At-least we will always have the butt fumble.
