A scan on the left ankle of New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter came back negative.
The results of the scan will be sent to Jeter’s surgeon, Dr. Robert Anderson, for a second opinion. The 39-year-old Jeter has been dealing with soreness in the ankle and was forced from Saturday’s game.
