Leavine Family Racing announced on their Facebook page that Reed Sorenson would drive the No. 95 Ford Fusion this weekend at Richmond International Raceway. Sorenson will be replacing Scott Speed in the driver seat.

The statement went on to say that Sorenson, 27, would drive the car “for the foreseeable future– with the exception of the Dover International Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway events.”

Multiple drivers are in discussions with LFR about driving the No. 95 car in 2014.

Speed’s departure from LFR undoubtedly has something to do with the amount of start and parking the team has done this season. In 2012 it was announced that the team would try and run a full schedule which included full races.

In 12 starts this season Speed had only three finishes better then 40th for the team.
