Kyle Busch wins at Atlanta, full race results
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the pole for the AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The 1.5mile Atlanta Motor Speedway serves as the second to last race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup regular season.
It is Stenhouse’s first career Cup Series pole. Carl Edwards will start along side him.
On Sunday 43 drivers will run the 500 mile race which consist of 325 laps.
Coverage of the race will begin airing on ESPN starting at 7:30 pm est. Multiple drivers can punch their ticket into the chase with a good showing at Atlanta. Currently Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, and Matt Kenseth have locked themselves into the postseason.
Jeff Gordon won the race here just a year ago. He is starting fifth.
