Austin Dillon did not have a great run on Saturday but the driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet did better then his competition for the NASCAR Nationwide Series title.
Dillon finished 12th and by doing so leapfrogged both Sam Hornish and Regan Smith in the NASCAR Nationwide Series point standings.
BRICKYARD: Kyle Busch wins NNS race at Indy
Hornish who entered the race with a slim lead fell all the way to fourth after engine issues forced him out of the Nationwide 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
