Tim Tebow did not have a good first day at New England Patriots training camp. Tebow played quarterback, running back and caught passes as camp opened.

According to Comcast SportsNew New England’s Tom Curran the former Jets punt blocker looked “horrendous” throwing passes and throwing an interception.

Of course Tebow did catch passes and lined up with running backs. He broke off a 40-year run later in practice which got fans “back on his side.

Prior to camp starting Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told reporters that he would use Tebow in the best interest of the team.

“I think that we’ll use Tim wherever we feel like he’s best for the team and I know that’s what he’s committed to doing as well, whatever that is,” Belichick said.

Tebow is not guaranteed of making the teams 53-man roster but it is also worth mentioning this is just the first day of camp and Belichick did praise his work ethic.
