Ryan Blaney qualified for the pole for the ARCA Series’ Ansell ActivArmr 150 at Chicagoland Speedway. Blaney was clocked at 173.310 mph and was more then a second faster then second place starter Corey LaJoie.
The ARCA Series will run 100 laps around the 1.5 mile track located in Joliet, IL to make up Sunday’s race. The race will begin at 6:00 pm ET and air on SPEED. Fans can also listen to the event at ARCARacing.com.
Frank Kimmel, the current series point leader, will start the race fifth. Kimmel recently recorded his record 79th win in the series.
