Josh Beckett will miss the remainder of the season as the 33-year-old is set to undergo surgery.
Beckett last pitched on May 13 against Washington.

In his eight starts for the Dodgers, Beckett compiled a 5.19 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP. Beckett worked 43 1/3 innings this season and has not topped 200 innings since 2009.
Beckett should be ready to return for the start of the 2014 season. There is one year remaining on Beckett’s contract worth $15.75 million.
