Ted Lilly will not make his scheduled Sunday start against the Atlanta Braves. Lilly is dealing with a neck issue and has made just five starts this season after beginning the year late due to a strained rib cage.
In Lilly’s place the Dodgers will start Matt Magill. Magill has struggled during his stints in the majors posting 6.38 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP in five starts. The Dodgers have not won any game that Magill has started.
On Friday night the Dodgers beat the Braves in the series opener when they scored the winning run on a wild pitch from Braves reliever Anthony Varvaro.
