The Chicago White Sox have sent infielder Angel Sanchez to Triple-A Charlotte. Sanchez is dealing with a lower back strain and has only appeared in one game this season.
Since Sanchez was a Rule-5 pick the White Sox were required to offer him back to the Angels. The Angels have a bit of a roster chunch themselves and declined to take Sanchez back.
The White Sox were then able to send the 29-year-old to Triple-A since he is no longer required to be on the 25-man roster.
