Matt Garza could rejoin the Cubs’ rotation after Thursday’s rehab start with Triple-A Iowa. Garza has been Sidelined due to his lat.
Garza lasted just 3 1/3 frames in his last rehab start, but three 66 pitches in the contest
Cubs manager Dale Sveum said the righty threw with a lot of “aggressiveness” in his bullpen session on Monday.
“We just have to get him built up so he can at least go out there for [six innings],” Sveum said according to MLB writer Carrie Muskat.
