White Sox reliever Jesse Crain made his first Cactus League appearance since February 25 on Monday. The right hander recently pitched a pair of minor league games prior to Monday’s outing.
The White Sox will wait until this weekend to make a decision on whether Crain will start the year on the active roster or the disabled list.
In Monday’s outing Crain worked two-thirds of an inning allowing four runs via three hits and a walk. While the stats left things to be desired the White Sox have to feel good that Crain was reaching the mid-90s.
Crain’s next scheduled outing is Wednesday.
